In Fall 2017 through January 2018, I presented the work of visual and performing artist Kevork Mourad. Titled Immortal City, the aim of this exhibition was to demonstrate the role that artists may play during times of great crisis.
Presented alongside classes, performances and special tours, Mourad's work acted as an exceptional catalyst for conversations between students, visitors and faculty, and, most importantly, raised awareness about the ongoing war in Syria.
